How often should I change them?
Knowing when to change your period underwear depends on a few factors, such as your flow, the absorbency of the underwear, and your personal comfort. Here are some general guidelines to help you determine when it’s time to change:
1. Flow Level
Light Flow:Â If you have a lighter flow, you may be able to wear your period underwear for up to 8 hours without needing to change, depending on the product's absorbency rating.
Moderate Flow:Â For moderate flow, you should change your period underwear approximately every 6-8 hours, especially if you feel any dampness or discomfort.
Heavy Flow:Â On heavy flow days, it's best to change your period underwear every 4-6 hours to prevent leaks. You may need to change more frequently depending on the volume of blood absorbed.
2. Signs of Full Absorbency
Feeling Damp or Wet: If you begin to feel moisture or dampness through your period underwear, it’s a sign that it has reached its absorbency capacity, and you should change them.
Discomfort:Â If the underwear starts feeling uncomfortable or you're aware of the fabric sticking to your skin, it's a good idea to change them to maintain comfort and hygiene.
3. Personal Comfort
If you start feeling less confident or comfortable, even if the underwear hasn't reached its absorbency limit, it's a good idea to change them. Comfort is key to feeling confident and secure during your period.
4. Activity Level
If you're very active, especially if you're exercising, swimming, or moving around a lot, you might need to change your period underwear more frequently. The increased movement can cause absorption levels to change, and you may feel more comfortable changing to ensure there are no leaks.
5. End of Day / Overnight Use
If you’re using your period underwear overnight, you may want to change them after 8-12 hours, depending on your flow. Consider pairing them with a menstrual cup or tampon for additional protection if you experience a very heavy flow.
Overall, always listen to your body and make changes when you start feeling uncomfortable, to maintain confidence and hygiene.

Overall rating: 4.4 / 5 from 21 reviews.
Great quality, soft material. Yet to trst how well they work for me but im excited to not have to buy pads anymore. True to size aswell. I would size up if you tend to bloat a lot tough
Honestly... I was hesitant to get period undies thinking no way could they hold your blood all day without smelling bad or leaking. Well, happy to say I was wrong. After reading how bad tampons and pads are for you with all the chemicals, fertilizer and bleach they put into the cotton, I am so thankful I have found a safe and effective product. I wish I had taken the plunge earlier. I will definitely be buying some for my daughter when the time comes! The only thing I would say is that for us bigger booty and tummy girls.. thicker waist bands would be great as I find they roll now after washing (some have even twisted inside a little which is annoying) and the back of the undies seems to not come up high enough like the front. But honestly, it's no more annoying than pads or tampons so meh. Thanks for making such a great product!
My measurements are Waist: 91cm, Hips:109cm I ordered the bulk 10 pack in XL. It's perfect for me as it's just snuge enough to feel secure but it isn't tight anywhere even with bloating. I can't handle tight anything.
Plus I only buy men's underwear cos it covers everything these are the perfect period undies for me. 100/10
I have PCOS which means verrrrry irregular periods. This 10 pack got me through a 38 day period, which I’m grateful for! They’re super comfy and I much prefer period underwear over pads/tampons and even cups. Love the extended pad from front to back too.
This is an unusual review. I have a blood disorder and am left sided hemipheplegic. (one side of my body is paralysed) This means I bleed badly. My period lasts months not days Multiple changes occur hourly, and to add insult, I can't change products easily. Leakage and flooding has been an ongoing nightmare. Night times are horrible. Aunt Flo has changed my life. They really do work. The long gusset catches leakage. I don't feel like I am wearing a nappy and they look stylish no bulk. Changing knickers is simple. I purchased bulk and different styles. No bloody sheets. Expensive! Yes! Worth every dollar.
Pretty comfy undies, gusset is wide enough, comes up nice and high at both front and back, waistband doesn't dig in like some other brands, would recommend these undies to others
The best decision I ever made! The boxers are so easy to wear under clothes. No bunching, wedging or leaking, I felt secure and comfortable all day and night. The coverage of the pad runs all the way around, ensuring any high front or high back bleeders get the same level of absorbency as a central guessed bleed. Don't hesitate, they'll change your life!!
I do love these undies however, I’ve only washed mine twice and the threads are already coming loose which is quite disappointing. Otherwise the fabric is super soft and it keeps you dry.
They take some getting used to but they are great. I got a size bigger than I would usually get but they are still a bit tight. I'm glad I got the bundle of 10 because I definitely need that many for my heavy days.
I dont know why as I have worn these types of undies before but I had massive leaks on the fabric around the gusset. I had to stop wearing them because even on a light day within an hour or two I'd have to change because my crouch had leaked all over
Unfortunately, I do not like the product. I find the material not breathable, and I also experienced a leakage problem :( have not gone back to them after that 2 wear. I have set them aside in my drawer.
